XSEED Chennai Technology Centre launched to accelerate EdTech offerings

Singapore based XSEED Education Pte, a leading K-12 education company inaugurated its Chennai Technology Centre on Oct 15th, 2019. XSEED Chennai Technology Center will be the launchpad for the next generation of XSEED’s education technology product platform. 

Speaking at the inauguration of the centre, Ashish Rajpal (Founder of CEO and XSEED) noted “The launch of the Chennai Technology Center is a big step forward to realise XSEED’s vision to create an independent affordable personalised learning system that enables children to master concepts at their own pace through engaging learning experiences and equip teachers to provide quality mentorship through personalised analytics. We are very excited about the possibility of using the Chennai Technology Center as a launchpad to bring out the next generation of technology-enabled XSEED products and platform.”

The Chennai Technology Center builds on a series of steps XSEED has taken in developing its capability in Education Technology.  XSEED had launched MAX as a blended digital & experiential learning program – based on the proven XSEED method & powered by light hardware – that strengthens Math, Science & English concepts based and provides personalised assessment learning performance. In 2015 XSEED acquired Pleolabs, a young New Delhi based startup with expertise in school learning management system. In 2019 XSEED followed this up by acquiring Report Bee, a Chennai-based education technology firm focused on assessment analytics and reporting in K-12 schools. 

The XSEED Chennai Technology Center will be staffed with top talent in mobile & web application development, architecture, user-experience & data-science. The workspace has been designed to facilitate focused creative work and virtual collaboration with XSEED’s academic. product and business teams based in Singapore, Delhi and Bangalore. The centre is located at Cathedral Garden Road, Nungambakkam, in Chennai
